Dr. Adam Zagelbaum joined the faculty in 2008, with a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Ball State University in Muncie , IN , where he specialized in both school counseling and marriage and family counseling. He has counseled clients within virtually all types of educational settings, including: elementary schools, middle schools, junior high schools, high schools, technical and vocational schools, magnet programs for the gifted and talented, universities, alternative schools, and educational programs within correctional facilities. He has also supervised and presented his research within international venues such as the school system of Trinidad and Tobago . His scholarly works have been published in peer-reviewed journals, edited books and volumes, and as contributions to video training series. Dr. Zagelbaum's research interests focus on career development, interviewing skills and strategies for professionals who work with child and adolescent populations, group work, conflict management and mentoring.
